Welcome to my life;

G'day mate, my name is Alexander Edwards. I am twenty-two and an author. I write anything from romance to science fiction; erotica to teen fiction. I started writing when I was thirteen as an escape from my mother and her not-so-motherly ways. She was abusive and distant and really could care less she had kids and never really cared about me or my brother. It was a way to get away from it and pretend I could do something, that I had a different life. Eventually, after she kicked me out of the house at sixteen; I wrote because it helped me pretend I had a better life. Eventually, as life got better and I found a new job and graduated, I wrote because I loved it. Now, I write because it's a passion of mine. I have self-published two e-books and I have written a lot of short stories and other novels. I hope one day to actually get one of my novels, or a few of them published. That would be my ultimate goal, but I do have a life outside of writing. I work full-time to support myself because we all know, like acting; writing takes time and sometimes you never do become the next J.K. Rowling or Stephen King. We can all dream, but I like the reality as well.
